Troy Bunker
Troy is a seasoned firearms instructor with over 50 years of shooting experience and a career spanning the military, law enforcement, and overseas security operations. He served nearly eight years in the U.S. Army Infantry, completing two combat tours and holding roles including Scout Sniper and Long Range Surveillance Team medic, supported by National Registry EMT and Combat Lifesaver certifications. After the military, Troy spent more than 20 years as a police officer, retiring as a Detective Corporal. His assignments included patrol, forensics, field training, and Special Investigations. As a firearms instructor, he taught pistol, shotgun, patrol rifle, tactical shield, lowlight encounters, building entry, and active shooter response. Troy later worked over three years in the Middle East as a Department of Defense security contractor, serving as the Field Training Officer Sergeant responsible for developing and maintaining armed security readiness. He now brings his extensive operational experience to delivering practical, realistic, and confidence-building firearms training.
